It was an atmosphere of fun, laughter and networking at the 5th Edition of the GTCO Food and Drink Festival yesterday.
Tagged: Promoting Enterprise, stars including rapper Naeto C, Nollywood Director, Charles Novia, Chef Fregz, Actress Kiki Omeli others were spotted at the festival. With an array of meals and drinks from vendors including BBQ Grills, Amala Skye(Ibadan,), Exclusive drink, Food Affair, A+ Drinks and Cocktails, Burger, Shawama, Abacha Spot, Taiwo Gunea Fowl, Liscious Desserts among others, attendees were spoilt for choice as they moved from stand to stand, ate and made merry. There was light music to serenade guests as well.
The children were not left out of the scheme of things as there were various games to play with free of charge for kids aged 1 year and above. At various corners, mobile toilets were strategically positioned for the use of the guests. A fire fighter truck was also on ground. Guides were also on hand to direct visitors to any sections of their choice. Crowd control was top-notch as well. The food and drink festival taking place at the GT Centre on Water Corporation Drive, Oniru in Victoria Island also included master classes from renowned chefs such as Moe Carson, Eden Hagos, Rico Torres & Diego Galicia, Ed Baines; Femi Oyediran and Miles White as they shared insights on the food business, southern cuisine and culinary artistry to the delight of attendees. Some respondents who spoke to our correspondent commended the management of GTCO for sustaining the initiative over the years ,adding that the festival should be extended beyond three days to enable more people attend and enjoy the ambience and food as they looked forward to future editions.
