On Tuesday, Barr. Oluyemisi Rosiji made a significant move to the delight of her political family.
It was the day she presented thousands of branded T-Shirts, Fez Caps, among others, to Hon. Benjamin Olabinjo Adeyemi (BOA), at a historic ceremony, which took place i Olabinjo’s Ahmadiya, Ojokoro, Lagos State residence.
Olabinjo, is a former Chairman, Ojokoro Local Council Development Areaand an aspirant for the House of Representatives, Abuja, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
Indeed, the presence of the APC bigwigs, including Hons. Ade Osatuyi, Ipaye, among other personalities, also lent credence to the ceremony.
Speaking while presenting the materials to Olabinjo, Rosiji, who is also a strong member of the APC in Ifako Ijaiye/ Ojokoro Constituency, said her gesture was to enhance the success of Olabinjo in his quest to be elected into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja, come 2023.
She described Olabinjo as a grassroots’ politician, whose contributions to the social, political and economic development of Ifako-Ijaiye-Ojokoro and Lagos State were phenomenal.
Rosiji, who recently broke the gender barrier by contesting and showing her strength in the last Primary Election for the Lagos House Assembly as a Member, described Olabinjo as a trusted and tested leader.
She promised to continually support her party(APC) in whatever area she could, while requesting that she be carried along in her party’s/constituency’s scheme of things.
She said her record performance in enhancing the welfare of the people of her Constituent was legendary and assured that she was ready and willing to do more for the people and human kind in general.
She paid glowing tributes to the people of Ojokoro/Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency for supporting her political aspiration.
Hon. Olabinjo, who was elated about Rosiji’s move, thanked her for the good gesture.
He, however, promised to carry Rosiji along in the affairs of the constituency, just as he counselled her to always contribute her resources to the party as a way of consolidating the party’s gains in the area, Lagos State and National level.
He also charged the donor to align herself with the APC’s manifesto and programmes in the overall interest of the people.
