2023: Bode George always bitter about Tinubu, says Olusegun Osoba ***eulogises late Shonekan

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba has stated that former Military Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olabode George has an axe to grind with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Osoba was speaking on the Morning Show on Arise TV as monitored by When asked about his thoughts on Tinubu’s recent declaration, he said, the APC National Leader’s emininently qualified and has the right to vie for the highest political office in the land just like anyone else, “He has the right to contest just like anybody else. So far as you are above 18. I believe 2022 will be an interesting year.”
On Bode George, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying the declaration should be taken with a pinch of salt, Osoba said, “Olabode George is my junior. I played an active role during his late father’s burial. He is bitter against Tinubu because he believes he had something to do with his problem. I am in APC and he’s in PDP. Let him go and manage the affairs of his paryy. He once attacked me unfairly too but I chose to take him for what he is. “
Sharing his thoughts on the passing of former Head of Interim National Government, Chief Ernest Shonekan, Osoba described him as very humble with a good pedigree whom he had a very good relationship with. He said, ” Shonekan made his mark in the multinational company UAC and was able to develop it into a real estate company as well. Osoba added that Shonekan also made a huge impact on the National polity during his stint as Head of Interim National Government and clearly wrote his name in gold.
