It was a great gathering of eminent personalities from all walks of life as the Ejigbo Eagles Club of Osun State gave a commemorative Award of Excellence to the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Prof. Oyedamola Adebowale Oke, the Chief Medical Director of Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Prof. Chris Bode among others at an event hosted by Dr. Solomon Alao, Chairman CIDL Group/ Chairman of Lagos Athletic Association and member of the Ejigbo Eagles Club for their sterling qualities and contributions to their various fields.
Another recipient of the Award of Excellence was Prof. Akanbi Ilupeju, an acomplieshed Professor of European language . Special Guests of Honour at the epoch making event were Architect Kayode Anibaba who also doubled as and the Chairman of the ocassion as well as
Hon. Mrs Moji Alli-Macaulay.

The event was a social convergence of members, family, friends and guests as the distinguished Club began to turn the page to reignite socialisation in a pandemic era.

The Host, Dr Solomon Alao and his Amiable wife uniquely offered members and special guests the unforgettable treat of the year.

The event which took place in Lagos also had the best in Class live music to entertain guests with enough provided to wine and dine while side attractions included private photo shoots and birthday celebrations to honour members who were born between January and March.

Incidentally, the Eagles Club of Osun State is the hometown of the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Oke and it was such an honour to be recognised along other erudite scholars.
