A former Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Dimeji Bankole is naturally a shy person.However, with the ecstacy which permeated the atmosphere at his wedding reception in Abuja yesterday, while Timi Dakolo, Joeboy, Lycon others entertained guests with melodious tunes , Bankole barely shook his body during the couple’s dance.
As earlier reported by photostory, Bankole, divorced his first wife in 2017.
His New bride, Aisha is a lawyer and graduate of the University of Hull in the UK.She is also the granddaughter of late political heavyweight and one-time head of Nigeria’s Security organisation, Alhaji Umaru Shinkafi, Marafan Sokoto.
The bride’s mother is Shinkafi’s daughter and a sister to former Zamfara Governor, Aliyu Shinkafi.
Aisha is the daughter of Kebbi Governor, Atiku Bagudu.
